At FCHAI, our story begins long before websites and online orders. It begins in the year 1974, when our parents and their parents before them crafted sweets (mithai) and crunchy karams (snacks) with nothing but natural naatu ingredients, village wisdom, and pure handcraft.
Back then, life was simple, yet full of flavor. Families gathered around copper plates filled with ghee-roasted treats, fresh hot chips, and cups of strong chai. Every sweet, every snack was made without preservatives, without palm oil, and without shortcuts—only wholesome, freshly ground spices, jaggery, pure ghee, and the love of tradition.
And guess what? That hasn’t changed.
Today, under our new brand “Natu Mithai”, we carry forward this beautiful heritage. The world may now be full of readymade, processed foods, but our mithai & karams never lost their charm. They remain timeless, healthy, and always fresh, because we believe that taste should never compromise wellness.
✨ A Day in Our Village Kitchen ✨
Close your eyes for a moment and imagine…
🌅 Early morning in a village courtyard. The air is filled with the smell of fresh ghee melting in a copper kadai. Our mothers are gently stirring the mixture, pouring it into plates to set into golden Mysur Pak.
🔥 Next, potatoes are sliced thin, washed in clear well water, and dropped into sizzling oil. The sound of crisp chips frying fills the home, while little ones wait eagerly with paper cones to grab the first bite.
🍯 On the side, jaggery syrup bubbles for chikki and laddus, while roasted nuts add their earthy aroma.
☕ And of course, a big brass pot of strong chai is brewing, spiced with cardamom, ginger, and cloves—ready to be poured into steaming glasses.
This was (and still is) our life. These are the flavors we grew up with. Pure, natural, handcrafted, and made with love.
